About Us
Domcare24 is a domiciliary care provider set up to cater to the needs of people living within our communities in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Domcare24 intends to work in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council and other healthcare professionals to provide Support at Home services. Our aim is to enable people to continue to live independently in the community by providing detailed care and support to the people in our communities and to make a positive difference in the lives of the people who choose to use our services.
Our services are targeted at people who are adults within the following age bands.
Adults aged 18 – 65
Adults aged 65 and over
Our specialities are:
- People living with dementia
- People living with physical disability
- People living with mental health support needs
- People living drugs and alcohol support needs
Our Aims
Our aim is to set a new and higher standard for domiciliary care. It is about treating people as individuals by delivering the right blend of services and skills to meet their individual needs. Everyone deserves appropriate care so that they can continue to enjoy every minute of their lives. Domcare24 Ltd is committed to delivering that care, to every service user, every time.
Our Mission is to;
- Protect the physical and emotional welfare of the service users using our service.
- Provide a high quality responsive service to enable and assist service users to retain as much independence as possible in order to remain at home.
- Provide a service which reflects the diversity of our local community.
- Provide the service in an open and honest way that the assessed needs, wishes, privacy and dignity of our service users are respected.
- Ensure that the needs of the service users are paramount with regard to any decisions or activities affecting our service users care.
- Recognise the role of Care Assistants as an integral part of our service and encourage and promote their contribution.
- Provide services that meet and exceed the National Minimum Standards.
The specific objectives of the company are the following:
- To deliver a service of the highest quality that will improve and sustain the service user’s overall quality of life.
- To ensure that the service is delivered flexibly, thoroughly and in a non- discriminatory fashion, while respecting each service user’s spiritual and cultural wishes, their right to independence, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, and the rights to make informed choices and to take risks.
- To ensure that each service user’s needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality and sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood, and disabilities or impairments.
- To ensure that the Care Service in whole is delivered in accordance with agreed Purchasing Contracts/Care Agreements.
- Employ and train staff to acquire the required skills and competence to aid in dealing with the day-to-day challenges that might arise in the workplace.
